Performance tests of the Kerber and Segment series devices

Today, our devices of the Kerber and Segment series are the most advanced and in-demand on the chemical and biological safety market and are installed at federal facilities, theaters, museums, airports and shopping centers, protecting people from terrorist attacks every day.
Today we will tell you about one of the most important indicators, according to which our devices, perhaps, have no equal not only in Russia, but also in the world.
Usually, in the list of characteristics of inspection equipment, both manufacturers and customers do not pay due attention to the most important criterion - speed. In the best case, the time of the alarm signal from the start of the analysis is indicated. But this is only a small part of the total time of a single use of inspection equipment, and it is this that determines the throughput of the entire security system.
Our performance evaluation methodology includes all stages: from preparing a clean napkin (or receptor, as in the case of the Segment series devices) and taking a sample to obtaining the result and being ready for the next analysis. We conduct long series of measurements and calculate the average time.
The test results of our main models of the Premium Segment detector, the Kerber-T and the Kerber-ST-r detector are in the table below.
The performance of the Kerber-T device greatly depends on the operator's skill in preparing the napkin and taking the sample. For the other devices in the table, the human factor is reduced to zero.
